The Den
'The Den'! A gorgeous space for guests that like to feel cosy and cocooned. The walls are painted in English Heritage 'Hicks Blue' which brings a soft muted ambience. It's the perfect place to read a book or enjoy a G&T, listening to some soft jazz or a favourite aria.

Guest Lounge
The Guest Lounge is a lovely bright and spacious area for everyone to sit, enjoy tea, read a book or chat with other guests. Here you can find our extensive library of DVDs for you to enjoy in your room. There is always fresh fruit for you to enjoy at anytime, and a fridge with fresh milk and bottled water.

When you're surrounded by the sheer magnificence of the Exmoor National Park it's hard to not spend every moment out there exploring it. But sometimes it's nice to wake up early wander downstairs and watch the sunrise from Highcliffe's wonderful garden. Maybe you've had a long day traversing North Devon and West Somerset and want to sit outdoors with a glass of wine or pot of tea and listen to the birds whilst sea gazing.
Whatever you decide to do there is little doubt that the garden at Highcliffe House is a beautiful and relaxing place to sit and just be yourselves.
