COVID-19 Actions & Safeguards

Please find our detailed CV-19 response to help our guests enjoy their stay at Highcliffe House

This page is updated to reflect regularly as we conduct our risk assessment to help minimise the potential for transmission of coronavirus. If you would like to know more about any of the information below or have any concerns about an upcoming or future stay – please don't hesitate to contact us.

The Stay

  • We encourage all guests staying at Highcliffe House to bring an adequate supply of 70%-alcohol hand sanitiser, wipes and any protective face coverings they wish to use.

On Arrival

  • If assistance with luggage is required, these items should remain in or near the car and we will take it from there.

  • Each time a guest enters the house we will request that they use the hand-sanitiser located near the front door.  Another sanitiser is located in the lobby.

  • If check-in coincides with another guest checking in, we will ask guests to wait in one of our reception rooms.

  • Our favoured greeting is to shake hands as a welcome, but we will discourage this until such time contact is once again permitted.  Should guests wish to make contact, we would be delighted to bump elbows or tip toes.

  • Our complimentary bathroom amenities are already single-use.  These will be fully replaced after each guest checks out.

  • Hospitality box containing teas, coffee, sugars, biscuits etc. will be fully replaced after each guest checks out.

  • Housekeeping of a room is never started whilst guests are in residence.
