Barna Barrow & Glenthorne Cliff Coastal Path

This isn’t an obvious choice for a circular walk, but it’s well worth it, the scenery is stunning.

The walk starts off just inland of the coastal path across Kipscombe Hill then meets up with the South West Coast Path midway to the Somerset County border (following a map is best for this walk).

Walking West brings you through the densely wooded South West Coast Path through the National Trust’s beautiful Glenthorne Clffs.

The path descends through Kipscombe to Foreland Point. Either ascend to Foreland Point or take a detour to the Lighthouse.

Once ascended you can follow the signs back to Barna Barrow or continue to Countisbury for a pint.  There are a few options at this point, even walking all the way back to Lynton.
